How it works
WhatsApp → signed webhook (Vercel) → private Blob store → local SQLite queue → Claude → Cloud API
The webhook verifies the HMAC-SHA256 signature of every request from Meta and writes the message to private storage. An agent running on your computer pulls the messages, has Claude draft a reply from your business file, and sends it only when you explicitly enable sending.

The agent runs on your computer; if it is off or asleep, no reply goes out.
What you need
- A Meta developer account and a WhatsApp test number
- A Vercel account (for the webhook and Private Blob)
- A Claude API key (a chat subscription is not an API key)
- Python 3.12+ and Node.js 22+

Test status
Local pre-release checks: Node 6/6 and Python 18/18 behaviour tests, the offline dry run, and a secret/personal-data scan of every file passed. These tests make no real Meta, Claude or Blob calls; your own setup is accepted when your test recipient receives the reply on their phone. Details are in TESTLER.md inside the ZIP.

Is the kit really free?
The code is MIT licensed and free. API, messaging and hosting usage may be billed to your own accounts.
Does it confirm bookings?
No. Requests are stored only as requests; the business gives the final confirmation.
